You want photography that reflects your wedding.

CANDID, relaxed and natural

You want photography that is packed with emotion.
You want a photographer who feels like a friend.
You are in the right place.

My biggest regret is having wedding photographs that are staged and unnatural…

and which make me cringe when I look back on them. I don’t want that for you!
I capture the small moments, the grand gestures and everything in between.

I’d love to work with you if:

You’d love stunning portraits

But you don’t want endless posing

You want to enjoy every moment

Without worrying about capturing the fun (that’s my job)

You want to feel the joy of the day

And know that the small details matter just as much as the big moments

I capture ATMOSPHERE, colour & emotion

I believe weddings are just the best celebrations…

I love everything about them. The atmosphere, the love, the sheer JOY.

I want your photographs to remind you of those emotions, of that feeling, every single time you look at them.

My relaxed documentary style and artistic eye means you’ll get the best of both worlds – moment driven photography with creative portraits.

Couples regularly tell me that I put them at ease on their day, they feel like they’ve made a new friend (and I love keeping in touch as their new family grows.) I chat away to your guests, make you laugh on your portrait session and will hit the dancefloor to get some action packed photos of your party.

KIND WORDS

LAUREN is honestly amazing.

From the minute she came in the morning of my wedding, she made us all very relaxed, as if she was actually just one of our friends, rather than a photographer. It was all so calm and natural and she did her thing while having a laugh.

During the wedding, Lauren was fab! Making us all feel special and tailoring the pictures to suit our personality – Nicolle

As if she was actually just one of our friends, rather than a photographer.

Got QUESTIONS

I’ve been in this game for a wee while now. And, as you’d expect, I’ve noticed there are a few important things people tend to ask when they’re looking for a professional wedding photographer. I’ve pulled together some answers to my most F A’d of Q’s for you to peruse. If you’ve got a question keeping you up at night, have a look to see if there’s an answer here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, just drop me a message using the contact form.

01/
How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking as soon as you’ve set a date and booked your venue. I take on a set number of weddings each year to make sure I give each one the time, care and attention that it deserves. I generally have bookings a year to two years in advance. For babies and families, I can be a bit more flexible, so shoot me a message using the contact form and we’ll go from there.

02/
What is your approach on the wedding day?

I’m pretty relaxed and personable as a person, but I’ve always got my eye on the ball. I’ll keep things chilled but will put my boss hat on when needed. I’m all about natural, documentary style photography full of candid moments and genuine love. No cringey posing or forced smiles. You will usually find me mingling with your guests capturing their experience of the day. I often hear ‘we forgot you were there’ and I am sometimes mistaken for a guest!

03/
What if it rains on the day?

Not a problem. I have photographed plenty of weddings where it has rained. I come equipped with umbrellas and if you really want to go for it in the rain, you can always bring a pair of wellies. During the summer months it’s usually just a shower, so we can always switch things around and do the outside photographs later in the day. Otherwise we can always find somewhere inside your venue. In a nutshell, we’ll do like Beyonce and make some lemonade!

04/
What is your photography style?

My style is natural, relaxed and tasteful. I look for lots of natural light and vibrant colours. I’m pretty good at noticing things and I absolutely love spotting unexpected photo opportunities. Capturing little hidden moments that people usually miss is my superpower. I like to get a good mix of natural photography alongside couples portraits, group shots and detail shots. Brought together these paint a vibrant picture of your day that you can cherish forever. Check out my gallery section and blog for a closer look at my work.

05/
We hate posing for pictures. Do we have to pose?

Preach. I hate posing for pictures too! For most people, posing isn’t natural and we’re just not used to it. If you’re uncomfortable, it shows. And who wants pictures of themselves looking uncomfortable? Not me. You most certainly don’t have to pose if you don’t want to. My style is all about capturing the REAL you and the joy of your wedding day, so relax and enjoy it!

06/
How do we make a booking?

The first thing to do is send me a message via my contact form, then I can confirm if I am available for your chosen date. Next, I’ll send you a price list and if you’re keen, arrange a meeting to chat about your plans and show you my portfolio. If you decide to make a booking, all you need to do is fill out a booking form and pay a £500 booking fee and we’re good to go. I’ll then send you a signed confirmation for your records.

07/
Can our family & friends view / buy prints online?

Yes! Your photos will go onto a private, password-protected site. That means you can share the password with your nearest and dearest and they can access your photos with the option to buy prints.

08/
Do you have business insurance & backup equipment?

Yes. I have Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Cover and I have a spare of absolutely everything!
