I’m Lauren. Picture taker, dog lover and utterly (wonderfully!) outnumbered in my houseful of boys!
I’m based in Glasgow with my husband Ian and our sons, Harry and Freddie. Luckily our Cavapoo Millie came along and evened things up a bit for me. Us girls have to stick together!
You’ll often find us walking in the hills near our house, we all love to get outdoors. I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with interior design and am always on the hunt for new Insta accounts to swoon over, let me know your favourites! When I get a bit of downtime - a rarity in our busy home - I will happily chill out on the sofa, gin in hand, with one of my trashy, ‘not so guilty’ pleasures, on TV. I’m currently binging Married at First Sight Australia and can’t get enough of Made in Chelsea!
I spent some time in Australia growing up which gave me the travel bug. I love discovering new places and my boys have inherited the same wanderlust.
We often set off on a last minute adventure, we’ll just pick a destination and head there to explore. It’s thanks to this slightly impulsive attitude that I picked up a camera and left my office job behind. I’ve not regretted it for a second, after years honing my craft I’ve been living my dream for the last decade!
My Photography Style
As a Scottish wedding photographer I really do have the best job in the world. I get to travel all over our (pretty damn gorgeous) country and be part of one of the most memorable days of people’s lives.
I love natural, authentic photography with a touch of romance. My photographs capture the essence of a wedding day - the joy, the love and the beauty of it. I have a secret talent...my eagle eyes! I’m brilliant at noticing things (much to the annoyance of my cheeky boys!) which is a huge bonus as a documentary photographer. I love all the details of the day, from the shoes and stunning jewellery to the tiny, shared moments between loved ones
I’ve mastered the art of blending into the festivities and unobtrusively capturing your wedding day. No awkward poses. No bossing you around. Just you and your loved ones having a great time.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year which means I can give all of my couples the undivided care and attention they deserve. My diary gets busy super quick so get in touch and let’s get this party started!
